That free password manager I ignored for years finally won me over

I always thought those free password managers were snake oil (you know, too good to be true). Then last summer my cousin's Facebook account got hacked in a data breach from that 2022 LinkedIn leak, and he had to reset like 40 accounts. So I tried Bitwarden on a whim back in October, and honestly it's been a lifesaver for keeping track of all my logins without reusing the same password everywhere. Has anyone else had a similar experience where a tool you dismissed turned out to be solid?

Your cousin's hack story hits close to home honestly. I had a similar eye opening moment when my email got caught in that Adobe breach years ago and I spent three days changing passwords for everything. Free password managers felt like a gimmick to me too until I realized how many of my logins were basically the same password with a different number at the end. Bitwarden has been a game changer for me as well, the autofill feature alone saves me so much time logging into stuff. Did you find it took a while to get all your accounts added or was it pretty quick?

Drove me nuts at first honestly, I kept forgetting to save new logins and ended up with a bunch of duplicates in my vault. But once I got into the habit of clicking that little popup it got way smoother. How many passwords do you actually have saved in yours now? Cause I'm sitting at like 150 and I still feel like I'm missing a bunch of old accounts from like 2015 era forums I probably forgot about.
