That week I accidentally locked myself out of 3 accounts in one day
Last Wednesday I got hit with a phishing email that looked exactly like my bank's login page and my dumb brain typed in my password before I realized it. Had to reset my email, bank, and even my Steam account because I used the same password for all of them like an idiot. Anyone else have a crazy week where everything went wrong at once with their logins?

The phishing thing is getting way too convincing these days... it's like they study exactly how the real sites work and copy every detail. Makes me wonder how many people just quietly lose accounts every week without telling anyone because they're embarrassed about falling for it. You'd think companies would have better safeguards by now, but here we are still resetting passwords like it's 2005.

oh man, that is literally the worst. i did the exact same thing last month with a fake paypal email. it looked so real i was convinced until i tried to log in later and my password wasn't working. i lost my email, discord, and my spotify account all in one afternoon. spent like two hours on the phone with customer support for each one. how long did it take you to get everything back?

worst" is definitely the right word for it. @cameron763 i feel your pain, i once fell for a fake steam login page so hard i ended up getting my entire library held for ransom by some dude who demanded i trade him my CSGO skins back. took me a solid week of emailing support and a very awkward call to my bank before i got everything back. honestly at this point i'm half convinced the scammers put more effort into their fake sites than i put into my actual job.
