My aluminum water bottle dented after one drop on concrete at the gym parking lot
I was loading my gym bag into the trunk on Tuesday morning near the YMCA on 3rd street and my 32oz bottle slipped out and hit the pavement. The dent is right on the side and now the lid threads feel crooked so it leaks when I tip it back for a drink. Anyone else just stick with plastic bottles because they actually take a beating without ruining your whole day?

...and that's why I just keep using the same Nalgene bottle I've had since 2019. Dropped that thing off a moving bus once and it just bounced. The cap still clicks on tight and I've never had a leak. My buddy had a aluminum bottle from some trendy brand and the bottom caved in after he left it on his truck tailgate and it rolled off.

Switched to a stainless steel Hydro Flask after my aluminum one did the same thing (and yeah, the crooked lid leak drove me crazy too). Dropped it off a ladder last week on a job site and it just got a little scuff mark.
