Found a 1987 map of Florida with a whole fake island chain

Picked up a beat-up road atlas at a garage sale in Tampa last Sunday for $3, and page 14 shows a cluster of islands off the Gulf coast that absolutely do not exist. I spent 20 minutes cross-checking with my phone and Google Earth, and there's nothing there but open water. Has anyone else stumbled on a map that just invented landmasses, and what's the wildest fictional place you've seen on a legit old map?
