Stumbled on a 1962 globe showing 'Upper Volta' and got sad
I was digging through a box at a thrift store in Boise last weekend and found a globe from 1962 with 'Upper Volta' still on it and the USSR huge. It made me think about how borders just vanish over time like that country doesn't even exist anymore. Has anyone else found an old map that made you realize how fast the world changes?
