Cleared $78 in coupons in one trip to the Kroger in Mesquite and I am still a little shocked

I had 14 coupons stacked up over about 6 weeks and honestly expected maybe $30 off, but the cashier kept scanning and the total just kept dropping. It felt great until I realized I spent 2 hours cutting and sorting paper for it. How do you all keep your coupon stacks from turning into a whole evening project?
