Pro tip: that $3 clearance bin at the Walmart on Colfax actually had decent HDMI cables
I always figured clearance electronics were returns that someone already broke, so I walked past that bin for months. Then a guy at work bet me $10 I couldn't find a working 6 foot HDMI cable in there, and I walked out with two for $3 each that have run my TV for 5 months now. The catch is you have to check the packaging for tape that's been cut and re-sealed, because those are the actual returns. Has anyone else had luck with clearance cables or is it usually junk?
