Vent: my sister swears by waiting for the 75% off holiday clearance, I say grab 50% on day one
She cleared a Target in Frisco last January and got wrapping paper for 90 cents a roll, but by then everything good was gone and she just bought 40 rolls of the same ugly design. So which one saves more in the end, waiting for the deep cut or grabbing what you actually want at half off?
Forty rolls of the same ugly design? That is a lot of wrapping paper to hate for the next ten years. She saved money per roll but now she is stuck with paper she does not even like. Half off on day one means you get the stuff you actually want before it is picked over. Buying cheap stuff you do not need is not really saving anything. Your sister won the receipt battle but lost the closet war.
