Dropped $150 on a cheap rebuild kit for a 6.7 Cummins and got exactly what I paid for

Picked up a budget gasket and seal set off Amazon for my 2015 Ram 3500 about 6 months ago, figured it was all the same rubber and metal anyway. The oil pan gasket started weeping within 3 months and now I'm looking at pulling the whole thing apart again just to swap in OEM parts. Anyone else learn this the hard way or am I the only sucker who thought saving a buck was worth the extra labor?

and honestly it's wild how these things just keep happening with these trucks, feels like every other week someone's posting about the same issue cropping up. makes you wonder if it's just bad luck or some deeper problem with how they're built these days.
