Fell for a 'good deal' on reman injectors... cost me $600 in lost labor
Bought a set of reman injectors off eBay for a 6.0 Powerstroke back in March. Seller had good ratings, price was half of new. Installed them, truck ran rough, had to pull them all back out and send them back. Two of them were bad out of the box. Lost a weekend and all that time. Anyone else stopped trusting reman parts from online unknowns?

Two of eight injectors dead on arrival is about right for eBay remans. Had that exact experience with a set of Bosch rebuilds for a 7.3. Learned the hard way that even good rated sellers are just drop shippers who never test anything. Stick with a local diesel shop that pressure tests before they ship or just bite the bullet on new. Saves you pulling cab bolts twice.

Stick with a local diesel shop that pressure tests" - how do you even find a shop that actually does that?
