I finally spent $60 on a good injector puller and it saved me a whole morning
Been using the cheap claw style puller for years and fighting with stuck injectors every time. Picked up a Matco slide hammer style puller last week for 60 bucks at the local tool truck stop. Popped a stuck injector out of a 6.0 Powerstroke in about 3 minutes flat. Anyone else had a cheap tool cost them more time than it was worth?

Is the Matco one the one that threads onto a specific adapter that fits over the injector body? I've seen those in action but never pulled the trigger myself. Asking because I've got a 6.0 in my shop right now with three stuck ones and I'm dreading the fight. Also curious if the slide hammer setup ever bends the injector body or messes up the return line ports when you really have to wail on it.

Lol yeah it'll bend stuff if you hit it hard enough. Welcome to the 6.0 life.
