Just ran a side by side test with Bosch injectors vs the cheap knockoffs
Threw a set of $40 eBay injectors into a 6.7 Powerstroke last month to save a buddy some cash. That truck ran rough, smoked like crazy, and had me pulling my hair out for 3 days straight. Swapped in Bosch remans for $325 each and it purrs like a kitten now. Anyone else learn this lesson the hard way?

Tbh I read somewhere that the tolerances on those cheap injectors are so far off they can actually damage the injector cups over time. A buddy of mine tried the same thing on his 6.0 and ended up having to pull the whole top end apart because a cheap injector stuck open and hydrolocked a cylinder. The spray pattern is completely different too, the cheap ones just dump fuel instead of atomizing it properly. I'd rather spend the extra money upfront than deal with the headache of chasing down driveability issues for weeks.

Not sure I agree with you on that one @wilson.emma, lots of guys run cheap injectors just fine.
