Old shop foreman told me my valve lash was too tight, took me 3 months to admit he was right
He showed me the rocker arm wear pattern on a Detroit 60 I'd done last year and said "you're chasing a quiet motor, not a happy one," so I backed everything off to spec and the oil analysis came back way cleaner, has anyone else had to eat crow on lash settings?
