Serious question, everyone swears by the 15-minute flush on a Detroit 60 series after a head job.

Did one in a Kenworth at a Phoenix shop last year, followed the book, still got a coolant leak from a warped deck. Now I run the engine for a full hour before I even think about buttoning it up. Anyone else skip the short flush?

Ever notice how the book often gives you the minimum, but real life demands the maximum?

Wait, is that why my laundry pile looks like Mount Everest right now? Because I've been giving life the minimum while it's been demanding the maximum? Man, that explains SO much. I keep thinking I can get by with half the effort, but real life just keeps raising the bar while I'm over here tripping over my own shoelaces. Honestly, I feel like I'm playing life on hard mode while everyone else got the easy tutorial. My whole strategy is basically "try just hard enough to not completely fail." And yet here I am, still surprised when things fall apart.
