Tried a cheap timing light from Harbor Freight and was shocked it actually worked

I needed a timing light in a pinch to set injection timing on a 12-valve Cummins last Saturday and my Snap-on was dead. Grabbed a $20 one from Harbor Freight on the way home thinking it'd be junk. Anyone else had one of those surprisingly hold up for daily use?

Kept using mine for months and it still works fine.

Lucky you. Most of these don't last a week without breaking. Maybe they just got a good batch.
