Broke 25,000 gallery views on my cloud paintings, here's what I noticed

I mostly post moody storm cloud studies, nothing fancy, just 2 hours on Procreate each night. This month I passed 25,000 total views on my gallery page, which shocked me because my most basic piece, a gray cumulus with a purple rim, has 3x the views of my detailed ones. I think it's the thumbnail, honestly. The simple ones pop better on a phone screen. Has anyone else seen a huge gap between what they think is their best work and what the crowd actually clicks?
