Had to pick between Procreate and Clip Studio for my tablet setup

So I finally got a new iPad last month and I was torn between spending $13 on Procreate or dropping $50 on Clip Studio Paint EX. I do a lot of character art with complicated linework and some animation too, so I went with Clip Studio since I used it on desktop before. The first 2 weeks were a nightmare getting used to the touch interface and all the brush settings on a smaller screen. But now after about 30 hours of drawing, I think it was the right call because the vector layers save me so much time when I mess up lines. Has anyone else switched from desktop to tablet and regretted their software pick?

Procreate is way more intuitive for tablet drawing though.

Ngl, that's exactly what makes Procreate so good for beginners and pros alike. The gestures like pinch to zoom and swipe to undo just feel natural after a few minutes. You don't have to dig through menus for basic stuff, it's all right there on the screen. A lot of other apps try to pack in too many tools and it just gets cluttered. Procreate keeps it simple but still gives you all the power you need for detailed work. It's one of those rare tools that gets out of your way and lets you actually draw.
