Overheard two art students arguing about screen calibration at the coffee shop
One of them said 'my prints look totally washed out compared to my monitor' and the other told her to check her color profile. I went home and realized my own digital paintings probably look way different on other people's screens. How do you guys make sure your art looks right everywhere?

That idea about making it look right everywhere is the problem. You can't control other people's screens, so trying to is a waste of time. Just make it look good on a decent, calibrated monitor and let it go.

Honestly, I just got a basic colorimeter to fix my own monitor, and that helped a ton.
