Question about color grading a photo series from a summer trip

I just went back and looked at photos I took in Portland last July compared to ones I edited in October. The difference is crazy. In July my edits were way too warm, like everything had an orange filter on it. By October I had learned to pull back on the saturation and use cooler tones for shadows. The change came from watching a tutorial about matching ambient light. Has anyone else gone back and had to redo an entire batch because your eye got better over 3 months?

Man that orange filter thing is real. I remember fixing up some photos from a camping trip in the mountains and thinking I nailed it. Then six months later I looked again and everything looked like I took it on the sun. Had to go back and rebalance every single one. The sky was this weird yellow color instead of blue. Funny how your brain just gets used to bad habits until you learn something new and suddenly you can't unsee it.

That specific yellow sky detail hits hard... did you end up re-editing the whole camping set or just cherry pick the worst ones?
