Switched from layers to smart objects for my mockups last month

I used to flatten everything into one layer and then hate myself when I needed to tweak a shadow. Now each element stays editable in its own smart object and it's saved me about 2 hours per client revision.

Wait, you weren't already using smart objects for everything?

Come on @webb.jordan, it's just layers. Smart objects overcomplicate simple edits.
