Was skeptical about those fancy brush sets for digital painting until I borrowed a friend's
My buddy let me try his $80 set of custom oil brushes for Procreate at a coffee shop downtown, and within an hour I was getting texture I'd never managed before. The way they laid down pigment actually mimicked real bristle strokes way better than the default ones I'd been using. Has anyone else found a brush pack that totally changed how you paint?

Haven't you ever had a cheap brush that shed all over your face, though? I mean, I get the appeal of saving money (trust me, I do) but a $5 brush fell apart on me in like two months. The bristles got all scratchy and it just wasn't blending anything right. I'd rather drop $30 on one good brush that lasts years than keep buying replacements every season. Just my two cents, but cheap stuff costs more in the long run sometimes.
