Why does everyone hype up Procreate but sleep on Krita? I did a side by side test.

I spent last weekend painting the same landscape in both apps to see which one actually holds up. Krita's brush engine felt way more natural for blending, and I finished in 2 hours compared to 3.5 in Procreate. Has anyone else found Krita handles texture packs better for showcase work?

Krita's brush engine is just built different for blending, especially with the wet brush settings. I ran the same test a few months back with a portrait and Krita handled the skin tones way smoother without that plasticky look Procreate can give. For texture packs, Krita's layer system lets you stack them without killing performance, which is a game changer for detail work. You might want to turn on the canvas acceleration in Krita's settings if you haven't already, it really helps with big brushes on showcase pieces.

Can't believe you finished an hour and a half faster in Krita... that's wild.
