A customer told me my diploma frames looked crooked, so I changed my whole layout method

I had a guy at a craft fair in Omaha tell me all my frames were off by like 2 degrees, and at first I thought he was just being picky. I went back and measured everything I had done and he was totally right, so now I use a laser level instead of a bubble one. Has anyone else had a customer call out something small that changed how you work?

That laser level probably saved your sanity and your reputation. My buddy runs a sign shop and had a customer pull out a digital angle finder on a set of vinyl lettered windows he did, and it turned out every single panel was off by about 1.2 degrees. He switched to a digital level that reads to 0.1 degrees and says he's never had a complaint since. Funny how one picky person can make you way better at what you do.
