Checked out a diploma mill expo in Phoenix, yikes

I wandered into that education services trade show at the Phoenix convention center last Thursday and half the booths were selling instant transcripts for $150. One guy even handed me a flyer promising a master's degree in 72 hours, no classes or exams needed. How do people actually trust these places when they don't even hide how fake it all is?
