Ordering a replacement transcript took me 3 tries because I kept using the wrong form
I needed my dental hygiene program transcript for a licensing renewal and went straight to the university's main office site. Turns out they have two separate forms, one for official copies and one for alumni verification, and I grabbed the wrong one twice before a receptionist at the front desk pointed me to a tiny link labeled "continuing education records." That third attempt finally worked, but I paid $15 each time for the mistake. Has anyone else gotten stuck on which department actually handles transcript requests for their field?

Man, I feel your pain on that one. The whole "wrong form" thing got me too when I needed my HVAC certification records for a new state license. I went to the main registrar page and clicked the first thing that said "transcript request," not realizing there was a whole separate portal just for trade and technical programs. It took me two wasted payments before I found a buried FAQ page that explained the difference, and that tiny link was impossible to spot on my phone. I get why they separate official academic transcripts from program verifications, but they could make it way more obvious which one you need before you pay. The front desk clerk I finally talked to said I was like the fifth person that week with the same mix-up, so you are definitely not alone on this.
