The evaluator who asked if my diploma came with a secret handshake
Called a service in Phoenix to check if my 2007 associates degree would transfer overseas. The lady on the phone put me on hold, came back, and asked if I knew the 'special phrase' written in cursive at the bottom of the page. I told her it just said 'cum laude' and she laughed for a solid minute. Turns out she was new and thought that was the secret to bypassing the authentication fee. Weirdest part, she still waived the $35 rush charge after I read it to her. Has anyone else dealt with a phone rep who thought the fancy Latin was a code?

My diploma's probably got a secret handshake too, but I lost the instructions the same day I lost my cap and gown.
