Vent: Verification fingerprints took 3 weeks to come back
I ordered a replacement set of documents through a broker last month and they kept saying the state was busy. Turns out the fingerprint check had gotten stuck because my birth certificate name had a typo from 1989. It took 14 days and about 9 phone calls to get them to resubmit with a corrected copy. Anyone else deal with name mismatches slowing down the whole process or am I just lucky?

Three weeks does seem slow but honestly a typo from the 80s biting you now is kind of funny in a tragic way. Nine phone calls though, you've got more patience than I do. At least you caught it now instead of finding out when you really needed those documents.
