Just realized submitting my mental health claim took 14 months because of one missing signature

I see some people getting approved in 3 months while others wait over a year for the same condition, so is it really about the paperwork or is the system just playing favorites depending on who reviews your file?

If you actually had all your paperwork perfect and it still took that long, sure that's bad. But a lot of people don't realize they're missing stuff and that's on them, not the system. The ones getting approved fast probably just had everything lined up right from the start.

@skylerc86 I've noticed that same thing with everything these days, not just VA claims. People always blame the system first but half the time it's just that they rushed through something and missed a step. It's like when someone says their online order got delayed but they didn't realize they put the wrong zip code in, lol.
