Overheard a guy at the SDI office say something that's stuck with me
Tbh, I was sitting in the waiting room at the SDI office in Fresno last month, and this older guy next to me told his buddy 'they don't approve nothing unless you got a paper trail longer than your arm.' He was talking about how he'd been denied twice before he started getting his doctor to write everything down, even the small stuff like how long he can stand before his back gives out. It made me realize I've been too vague in my own claims, just saying 'I have pain' instead of 'I can't walk more than 10 minutes without needing to sit.' Has anyone else noticed that being super specific helped move things along?

Wait, are you saying being less specific is actually the problem?

@olivia478 you're right on the money with that question... I've been in the same spot where being too vague just made everything worse. Like when I asked for help on a project and just said "it's not working" instead of saying "the code breaks at line 42 when I add the new feature." Getting specific forces people to actually give you useful answers instead of guessing games.
