Shoutout to the SSA office in Fresno for actually picking up the phone

I been trying to get through to my local office for weeks about a missing form for my disability claim, and yesterday someone actually answered after 45 minutes on hold. She found my file, saw the problem, and fixed it right there. Anyone else have a surprisingly good experience with a claims office lately?

Hold up - did they actually walk you through what was missing and why it got held up in the first place? I had a similar lucky break with the Oakland office last year, but the lady just said "oh it was a clerical error" and wouldn't tell me more. I'm wondering if that Fresno office gave you the full rundown on the problem so you can avoid it happening again on your next filing.
