The 30-day deadline trick that saved my SSDI appeal in Fresno
Got denied back in March and nearly missed the window to appeal because the letter sat in my junk mail pile for a week. Someone on here mentioned setting a recurring alarm for day 25 after any denial, and it worked perfect, I had everything filed with 2 days to spare. Has anyone else had luck with the reconsideration phase or should I just get a lawyer now?

Oh man, that alarm trick is genius! It's funny how the little systems we set up for ourselves end up being the difference between getting stuff done and totally dropping the ball. I swear half of life is just figuring out ways to outsmart your own forgetfulness, like putting your keys in the same weird spot every day or setting a timer for stuff you always blow off.
