Wasted $85 on a 'disability claim expeditor' service that just filled out forms I could have done myself

They charged me for a quick phone call and mailed me the same packet I found free online, has anyone else gotten burned by those so called claim helper companies?

Fell for the same thing last year, paid $60 for a "VA benefits guru" who basically read the checklist off the government website back to me. Made me feel real smart when I found the exact same PDF saved on my desktop.

Simon, that PDF was probably the same one the VA posts for free on their official site...
