I finally stopped using isopropyl alcohol for thermal paste removal

Everyone swears by 99% IPA but it always left this hazy residue on my PS4 chips. Switched to Arctic Clean thermal paste remover wipes back in March and the difference is night and day. Has anyone else noticed IPA not fully cleaning old paste off?

I heard the haze is actually leftover flux from the solder.

Jade271 you're giving the flux way too much credit, that stuff burns off clean if you're doing it right. More likely someone just got lazy with the cleanup and called it a day.
