Rant: my buddy swears by hot air rework for HDMI ports, I think that's how you lift pads

He fixed his PS5 port in 20 minutes with a $35 hot air station from a pawn shop in Akron, but my own attempt on an Xbox One left three pads gone and I've been trying to convince him flux and a soldering iron is safer, anyone else land on one side or the other?
