Shoutout to the guy who told me thermal paste isn't the only trick for hot Xbox Ones

I kept re-pasting my OG Xbox One every 6 months until I swapped the stock thermal pads for $8 Fujipoly ones and now it runs 12 degrees cooler on Forza, has anyone else noticed the factory pads are total garbage?

Haha oh man, I feel this so hard. I spent like a year thinking my Xbox was just cursed because I'd repaste it and it would be fine for a bit then go back to sounding like a jet engine. Didn't even think about the pads. I finally swapped mine out with some cheap ones off Amazon and now my console doesn't try to take off during Forza horizon loading screens. I'm honestly embarrassed it took me that long to figure out lol.
