Wait you actually tried to fix a PS5 by hitting it? That's insane! Those consoles have moving parts in the disc drive, not a broken TV from 1999. I'm honestly surprised you didn't end up with a cracked casing or a loosened fan blade. At least with a stuck jar you can brute force it open without breaking anything permanently. But a $500 console? That's a different level of risky.

Yeah the "hit it harder" thing was my go-to move for years. I used to just force stuff until it worked, like trying to open a stuck jar. But then I watched a friend fix a lawnmower by cleaning the carburetor instead of yanking the cord harder. That little bit of finesse got it running first pull. Changed my whole approach. Sometimes the problem isn't about power, it's about finding the right spot.
