Went to a retro game swap meet in Austin and saw a guy using a toothbrush to clean a Dreamcast laser lens.
It worked, but I still think a proper cleaning kit is worth the $15.

Ngl it's like people buy the fancy gadget first then figure out the cheap hack later, happens with everything from phone cases to kitchen knives.
