My $5 walmart scale ruined my shots for a whole week

I was pulling shot after shot that tasted sour and weak, couldn't figure out what was wrong. After 4 days and tossing almost a whole bag of beans from a local roaster in Denver, I decided to check my scale with a nickel. Turns out my cheap scale was off by almost 2 grams. Has anyone else had their workflow thrown off by a bad scale?

Wait, you sure a nickel weighs exactly 5 grams? I thought nickels were supposed to be 5 grams but they can be off a bit too, especially older ones.
