A client's simple question made me rethink my whole paint prep routine
I was cleaning a house in Tacoma last Tuesday, and the homeowner asked why I was wiping the trim with a dry cloth before painting. I told her it was to get the dust off, but she pointed out a tiny spot I missed that would have made the paint peel. Has anyone else had a small tip from a client completely change how you do a basic task?

Ever had a client point out something so obvious you feel like a total goof? I'm still finding spots I missed from a comment like that last year.

Happens all the time. It's like your brain just skips over the simplest stuff when you're too close to it.
