My $12 caulk gun completely ruined my baseboards
I bought the cheapest caulk gun at Home Depot for a living room project last spring and it kept oozing even after I let off the trigger. Ended up with thick globs everywhere that took forever to clean off and had to redo half the room. Anyone found a smooth caulk gun under $30 that actually stops dripping?

Dude, same thing happened to me. That cheap caulk gun is a nightmare, just keeps drooling after you stop squeezing. I threw mine in the trash and got a dripless one, haven't looked back.

Ugh right?? The oozing is honestly the worst part of those cheap guns. But just so you know, "dripless" doesn't always mean no drip at all, it just means the rod doesn't keep moving forward when you stop squeezing. Some of them still leak a tiny bit if you leave them pointed down. I got a dripless one for like $25 from Amazon and it works way better than the cheapo one, no more giant blobs everywhere. Just make sure to pull the rod back a tiny bit when you finish a bead, that's like the real trick to stop any leftover dripping.
