Spent $38 on a laser level and it made my shelf installs boring easy

I've hung a ton of shelves over the years. Always used a bubble level and a pencil, then had to redo at least one hole because the bracket drifted half a hair. Picked up a cheap cross-line laser from Harbor Freight last weekend. Took maybe 2 minutes to set up and my marks were dead on. Finished a 12 foot run of floating shelves in under an hour, no do-overs. Kinda feel dumb for fighting the old way this long. Anyone else put off buying a laser level then wish they'd done it sooner?
