That cabinet paint peel on my kitchen doors taught me a hard lesson
I used to just grab any cheap primer and slap it on before painting my cabinets. After 4 months the paint started peeling off in sheets, looked awful. Now I always use a bonding primer like Stix and sand between coats, no shortcuts. Has anyone else dealt with paint failure after skimping on prep?
