Had a nightmare making a hot dog costume for my corgi last week

The felt kept fraying and my dog chewed through the fake bun glue three times before I gave up. Has anyone found a way to keep no-sew costumes from falling apart in under an hour?

wait, have you actually tried a hot glue gun on this? because i've been in this exact spot before and honestly yeah that's probably the move. i remember one time my stuff was totally falling apart and i was ready to throw it all away. a little hot glue and a prayer and somehow it held up for months. it's not pretty but it works most of the time. if you're desperate like i was, just go for it. better than buying a whole new thing or paying someone to fix it.
