I was dead wrong about those fleece tie blankets for dogs
After 3 years of rolling my eyes at them, I finally made one for my pit mix last night using just scissors and 2 yards of fabric from Joann's, and she hasn't left the thing alone for 12 straight hours.

Wait, are we talking about the ones where you cut slits in the fringe and tie them? I made a no-sew fleece blanket for my cat once and she just sat on it like a loaf of bread for three days straight. I swear animals know when you've actually put effort into something for them.

Three days straight" - are you sure she wasn't just vibing on a warm piece of fabric? My dog treats every new thing like it's the second coming of peanut butter for like 24 hours and then forgets it exists.
