My cat dressed as a hot dog and the bun ripped in 2 minutes flat

I tried making a hot dog costume for my cat Leo using a pool noodle cut in half and some felt for the bun (real cheap setup). The bun part I glued together with hot glue stayed on maybe 2 minutes before he shook it off and the felt split right down the middle. Lesson learned for next Halloween: use fabric glue instead of hot glue on felt, and maybe test the design on a stuffed animal first instead of the real cat. Anyone else have a costume that fell apart faster than expected?

OH COME ON, hot glue is TOTALLY fine for felt if you apply it right. You probably just didn't let it cool and set before putting it on the cat, that's the real issue here. People always blame the glue when really they just rushed the job.
