A lady at the garden center told me my terrarium looked like a fish tank with regrets
She watched me pick out pebbles for 20 minutes and then said that, completely deadpan. I asked if she had any tips and she just walked away. Has anyone else gotten unsolicited comments from strangers about their builds?

Three weeks ago a guy at Home Depot watched me digging through their clearance plants and said "you know those are all dead right" but I literally revived a crispy fern from that same bin last month. @claire_fisher41 is right, people love acting like experts on stuff theyd never try themselves. I bet that same lady has a sad single pothos at home collecting dust.
