Checked out a big box store terrarium class, the soil was ALL wrong
Stopped by a workshop in Austin last Saturday and they had folks using regular potting mix with no drainage layer, that's a recipe for rot. Has anyone else seen these store classes push bad setups, or am I just being picky?

48 bucks for dirt soup with a side of root rot, classic. Guess the class forgot the part where plants need to breathe too.
