Found a cheap fix for constant fog on my closed terrarium glass
I was getting so frustrated with my moss terrarium fogging up every morning to the point I couldn't see the plants inside. Tried wiping it down, even left the lid off for a day, but that just dried out the moss. Then I remembered how I deal with pressure washer lenses fogging up at work, and I stuck a little silica gel packet from an old shoe box in there. After two days the glass has been totally clear and the moss looks healthier too. Anyone else use random household stuff to fix their terrarium problems?

Silica gel packs are great for so many things. I tossed one in my tool box last winter after some rust showed up and it worked better than that spray I wasted money on. Might have to try this trick next time my jar gets misty.

Those might leach chemicals over time in heat though...
