Moss from my backyard vs. sphagnum moss, the slug saga

I spent 3 weeks battling mystery holes in my closed terrariums. Turns out the pretty moss I foraged behind my apartment had slug eggs in it. Swapped to rinsed sphagnum moss from the garden center and haven't seen a single problem since. Anyone else deal with hitchhikers from their own yard or did I just get unlucky?

Learned that lesson after my slug eggs became a surprise garden. Rinsing everything now, even my pride.
