My sealed jar in Denver got a crazy white mold bloom last month

Honestly, I was setting up a new mossarium in a big glass jar and forgot to let it air out for a few days before sealing it. Tbh, a week later the whole thing was covered in this fuzzy white layer. Has anyone else had this happen and what did you spray or wipe it down with?

Oh man, "forgot to let it air out" is my whole life story... I did the same thing with a fern jar and it looked like a science experiment gone wrong in about five days. I ended up wiping everything down with a little white vinegar and water and just starting over, honestly.

Wait, you sealed it after only a few days? That's way too fast. Mold blooms happen when there's too much moisture trapped. I let my jars air out for at least two full weeks before I even think about closing the lid.
